Welcome to the official site for Trek the Trail, the premier annual event for the Shire of Mundaring.

The Trek, now in its sixth year, is eagerly anticipated by walking and cycling groups, individuals, couples and families from throughout Perth and regional WA. 

Essentially, it is a not-for-profit health and leisure event focused on a different section of the historic Railway Reserves Heritage Trail each year. 

The event is free and non-competitive, which means you can take as long as you like to complete the route, or just complete a section of it.

Combining the elements of the natural environment, health and fitness, arts and culture and history and heritage, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Please Note : While we are hoping for beautiful weather on the day, it is one thing we can not control. Information will be posted on this website early Sunday morning (6am) if bad weather conditions prevent the event from going ahead.
